A lot has been happening. Like a lot.
I got a new job and start in November which is something I am very much looking forward to. I’ve been at my current job for just over two years and it’s definitely time for something new. Sometimes a change is as good as a holiday after all.
I’ve been trying to get around to blogging but it seems our weekends fill up quickly with wedding functions (my bridal shower was this past weekend) and I blink and the day is gone. Luckily this weekend I spent an afternoon making burgers for my family. We popped toppings in the middle, built our own burgers and went to town scoffing them down. My dad very kindly brought us some fresh snapper but this fish burger can be made with any kind of fish.

When I was at university I hosted a chip party.
We got chips from the local takeaway and then popped them in different bowls and seasoned them with anything we could think of. We had cheesy chips, cheese and garlic sauce over chips, chips seasoned with braai salt. The list went on. It was the most delicious party I’ve ever been to.
Then in August last year we went to Wellington and got to eat at Five Boroughs where they put this amazing seasoning on their chips and BAM! I was transported back to university all over again. I think I was also wearing my uni hoodie at the time so it was obviously meant to be.

Potato chips.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that potato chips are the greatest. They go great when you watch a movie, next to a sandwich or in a bowl with dip. Potato chips are the business.
And homemade potato chips? Those are even better.
